Emergency services were called out on Christmas Day following a report that a man had jumped off the Cleddau Bridge.

Police received the 999 call at 8.49pm. St Govans and Dale Coastguard rescue Teams, together with two RNLI Lifeboats from Angle and tugs from the port authority were deployed to the scene.

However, as all the units were preparing to search the Cleddau waterway, the 36-year-old man was found safe and well and in no trouble.
