Neighbourhoods are being urged to join with local government, educational and law enforcement agencies to make a difference in their community in a dedicated week of action.
Neighbourhoods In Action week is due to take place from May 19 until May 23.
The scheme comes hot on the heels of the hugely successful Not in My Neighbourhood week (NIMNW), which was held in October last year.
Sally Thompson, of the Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership, said the previous event had made a massive impact and greatly improved life in the areas chosen.
"Not in My Neighbourhood week saw 35 community projects being carried out along with education and enforcement activity," said Ms Thompson.
"We are keen to build on this success and are therefore launching Neighbourhoods in Action.
"All of the numerous agencies involved in NIMNW have signed up to take part again and now we are asking the communities to support us too.
"We are looking for potential projects which our teams can assist with and volunteers.
"It is essential for the communities to get involved as we want to have projects that makes a real difference to their lives."
Anyone wanting more details on the scheme or wishing to nominate a project for consideration should contact the Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership on 01437 769669.
