Several streets and footpaths in Haverfordwest are to be resurfaced over the coming months, as part of a Pembrokeshire County Council enhancement programme.
The majority of work will be carried out under temporary traffic management control but motorists have been warned that some roads may be closed for limited periods, if carriageway widths are insufficient to maintain traffic flow.
However, the council has said that it will notify the public before any closure takes place.
The roads to be affected are High Street, Upper Market Street, Bush Row, Albany Terrace, Winch Lane, Quay Street, St Thomas Green, Merlins Hill, Albert Street, and the B4327 at Portfield.
Works are set to begin on Monday, when resurfacing work will take place from Fenton School, as far as the junction between Hawthorn Rise and Trafalgar Road.
Anyone seeking more information regarding the work can contact the council’s highway asset management section.
