Goodwick Utd 5 Pennar Robins 0 GOODWICK United continued to set the early pace in Division One with a five goal demolition of struggling Pennar Robins.

Although the home team were dominant throughout, the Robins held out doggedly and went into half-time with the scores level at 0-0.

But after the break Goodwick grabbed the goals their pressure deserved. A James Dean shot was parried by Stuart James and Daniel Williams was on hand to tuck in the rebound.

Goal number two came from the boot of Adam Raymond who finished neatly after waltzing past two defenders.

Raymond grabbed a blistering second with a sweet strike from the edge of the area that left James with no chance as it flew into the top corner.

Goodwick continued to press forward and Daniel Williams bagged his second and his side's fourth when he converted a sweet Steve Blackford cross.

And with 10 minutes remaining Lee Burrows rounded things off nicely for the home side with number five. Burrows combined with Rob Hughes and he finished calmly.

Going into Tuesday evenings' fixtures Goodwick sat top of the table while Pennar were still looking for their first points and first goals of the season.
