BY day she is a mild-mannered reporter for Pembrokeshire's liveliest newspaper.
But by night she is donning wellies, judging sheep and preparing for three days of sash wearing and vigorous hand-shaking.
Yes, the Merc's own Rhiannon Llewellin has been chosen as Miss County Show 2004.
Rhiannon, 23, was chosen by a team of judges at a selection evening recently.
She said: "I am very proud to have been chosen as Miss County Show and am looking forward to carrying out the role.
"Luckily I had already booked time off work so I won't have to hide a note-pad and dictaphone under my sash!"
Rhiannon lives at home on the family farm in Llawhaden and is currently the vice-chairman of Llawhaden YFC.
She has represented Pembrokeshire YFC at Wales and national levels in public speaking and is in the middle of studying towards her final journalism exams.
Rhiannon will have a key role to play at this year's Pembrokeshire County Show on August 17, 18 and 19 where she will act as an ambassador for both the County Show and Pembrokeshire YFC.
