A 27-YEAR-OLD woman from Newgale is set to embark on a charity cycle, trekking the entire coastline of Ibiza for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Jemma Davies, who has been working as a lifeguard at Center Parcs in Norfolk for the past 20 months, is set to take on the gruelling challenge over two days on the first weekend of May.

The money raised will all go to an appeal entitled HAIRraising which is raising money to build two new operating theatres at the children’s hospital.

Jemma said: “Iamlooking forward to it, even though it will be a tough physical challenge in the heat of the Mediterranean sun and definitely not a holiday.

“The end result means it will all be worth it.”

Jemma is aiming to reach a minimum fundraising target of £1,000, £750 of which needs to be raised by this Saturday, March 24.
