A PEMBROKESHIRE hair extension specialist is among those celebrating after the shortlist of finalists for the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards 2015 was revealed.
Among those heading to the second annual awards at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff on June 28 will be Laurie Williams-Odlin of Pembroke Dock.
She has been shortlisted in the Welsh Hair Extension Specialist of the year category
Laurie said: "I am over the moon that I have been chosen as a finalist out of all the nominations that were received.
"It is something I am extremely passionate about and I'm blessed to be able to receive recognition for this as a finalist and represent Pembrokeshire. Even getting this far is an achievement."
The Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards seek to commend talented individuals and businesses that help deliver 'superb and innovative services in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere'.
The award ceremony provides a platform to show appreciation for the hard work, dedication and accomplishments of those in the hair and beauty industry.
Irfan Younis, of event organisers Creative Oceanic, said: “Once again the competition is intense as with 21 accolades to be presented on the evening. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck and we look forward to delivering yet another great event.”
Among the awards to be handed out on the night will be the coveted title of Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year.
