SHORTLY before going to press the Merc was able to confirm the nominations for the Welsh Assembly election to be held on May 3.
The following nominations are subject to withdrawal by Tuesday, April 10: Standing for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire: Angela Burns, Conservative; Christine Gwyther, Labour; John Gossage, Liberal Democrat; John Dixon, Plaid Cymru Save Withybush Hospital; Malcolm Calver, Independent.
Standing for Preseli Pembrokeshire: Paul Davies, Conservative; Tamsin Dunwoody, Labour; Hywel Davies, Liberal Democrat; John Osmond, Plaid Cymru Save Withybush Hospital.
