Myra Shaklady, commercial director of the Milford Haven Port Authority (MHPA), has resigned.
A spokesman for the MPHA told the Merc: "We can confirm that Myra Shacklady, Milford Haven Port Authority's commercial director, has resigned to become business development director for Jersey Harbours."
Myra (pictured with Ted Sangster) has been involved in the shipping industry since 1976 and has worked for companies like P&O Ferries and Stena Line.
Her new appointment in Jersey will see her working with chief executive Howard Le Cornu, managing the development of the island's commercial port, which handles most of the goods that arrive on the island.
"We wish her well with her new role, and are now setting about the process of appointing her replacement," said the MPHA spokesman.
