TALENTED boxer Scott Gammer will fight Paul King on Sunday at Neath.

This will be the first fight Scott, aged 30, from Pembroke Dock, has had since losing his heavyweight title to Danny Williams in March.

Sheffield fighter King agreed to fight at the last minute after two other boxers were forced to pull out through injury.

Earlier this week Colin Kenna, from Southampton, pulled out with a nose injury, and was replaced with Nigerian fighter Franklin Egobe.

Egobe then hurt his shoulder and King, aged 33, stepped in.

The 6ft 6 bruiser weighed in at around 17st for his last fight back in May.

Scott who has 17 wins to his name and only one defeat and one draw in his professional career will certainly be the favourite.

King has won five fights, lost 17 and drawn one.

Scott beat King back in June 2004 when the referee stopped the fight in the third round.

It is hoped that if successful in this match Scott's next bout will be a title eliminator against John McDermott.

Buy next week's Mercury for full ringside coverage of the fight.
