Cruiser racing will once again be hitting Milford Marina this summer.
The annual Haven Regatta series, which starts at Neyland Yacht Club on July 20, will see five separate races taking place at various Pembrokeshire ports, with the competition culminating at Pembs Cruiser Racing Club on August 31.
Milford Haven Port Authority has once again pledged its support to the series by donating £3,000 towards the event, which will be running for the third successive year.
Commodore of Pembs Cruiser Racing Club Martin Sykes thanked the port authority for its support. He described the series as a vital opportunity for sailors to improve their sailing ability.
He added: "All yachtsmen involved can enjoy the element of competition and test their techniques against fellow competitors." Mariam Moazzen, of Milford Haven Port Authority is delighted to support the series.
She said: "The regatta is a fantastic event. It is also an oppotunity for us to show our continued support for off-shore cruiser sailing on the Haven as well as the various clubs which work together hosting the event."
