Disturbing scenes

DOING my weekly shop at Tesco, Haverfordwest, with my two children aged four and six, I was horrified to see my children’s attention fixed on a television screen showing advertising for the latest edition of a well known certificate 18 combat computer game.
How does the management at Tesco justify showing this level of violence in an environment where many families with young children shop?
It seems we are living in a society where war and violence is seen as entertainment.
Have we become so immune to images like these that such an advert can be un-certificated and cardboard cut outs of menacing combat figures can stare at us from every corner of the store?
I don’t want my children to be subjected to this sort of imagery, or myself for that matter. I will be taking my custom elsewhere.
