I AM writing to thank all those readers who have so kindly selected the BHF to benefit from financial tributes to be given in place of flowers at funerals.
We understand that decisions can be hard to make at the difficult time of losing a loved one. We are very grateful to those who choose the BHF as the charity to benefit from their thoughtfulness.
When donations are to be given to charity in the place of funeral flowers, we very much hope that readers will give sincere consideration to supporting the vital work of the BHF. With 128,000 people in Wales currently living with and suffering from the serious disabling effects of coronary heart disease alone, there is clearly much still to be done.
