I AGREE with John Steer (Letters, August 14) that it is good to hear from people who are for energy projects in Pembrokeshire.
In Dinas, we have been thinking about a community energy scheme for the last two years, following suggestions proposed by PLANED in the Community Action Plan.
As chairman of the energy committee, I would love to hear from local residents and visitors with property in the community, of their attitude and whether they would like to be involved.
Having assessed all the options, it appears that wind and solar are the most suitable for us.
Being in the National Park, we are well aware of the constraints, but find that the National Park Authority on their website gives guidance to encourage us to put whatever is decided in a suitable place.
We are to be further advised by Tom Latter at an open meeting at 7.30pm on October 15 in Yr Hen Ysgol, Dinas.
I would be pleased to hear from anyone interested in this exciting community project by email on timsimsw@ onetel.com.
