Well done to gardeners

THROUGH your letters page, I would like to congratulate the head gardener and his team at Picton Castle Gardens for the transformation they have made to the gardens over the last two years.
In particular, the children’s play area, the lower woodland garden and the walled garden, which is superb at present and a blaze of colour.
The gardens are an asset to tourism in Pembrokeshire and well worth a visit from early spring to late autumn.
Speaking to visitors over the bank holiday weekend it seems keen gardeners spend a long weekend visiting the more famous gardens in Carmarthenshire as well as Picton.
It is a great pity more locals do not pay the gardens a visit and enjoy a peaceful walk , wonderful scents and get ideas for their own garden.
