MAYBE some rural businesses would like broadband quicker and mobile phone signals more reliable, but our rural post service must be second to none.
On December 10 we received a car posted second class from Shrewsbury on the 9th. The house name was wrong and could have gone to a house of that name a mile away. There was no village name and no post code, just Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire.
So we would like to publicly thank our local ‘Posties’ for their excellent and caring service in sorting out mistakes and omissions that no science or technology could have sorted - and quickly too.
So thank you again, Posties, for perfect service all the year round.
