Re: Closures at Withybush General Hospital IT IS going to be an uphill struggle to persuade Mark Drakeford [Wales health minister] and his colleagues that his policy and subsequent decisions regarding WGH are dangerous in the extreme for Pembrokeshire, but what will be the position under common law should a life be lost owing to the transit to Glangwili of either a sick child or a parent or both? Will there be a prosecution for corporate manslaughter as the result of lives being lost? Or perhaps there will be a Clause of Exemption provided to ensure that the guilty parties, who refused to pay attention to either the people of this county, or the consultants and other medical staff, are given protection against the force of the law?
