ONCE again a nail (albeit a small one) has been hammered into the fabric that is South Pembs Hospital.
I refer to the partial closure of the podiatry clinic of the hospital.
For years that has given service to older people, by the simple task of cutting their nails. Nothing to get uptight about you might think, but for those of us who find it difficult to bend down to cut their nails, the service was invaluable.
Now yet another little ‘perk’ has been taken away from us.
