MANY will have heard of the life saving work of the Anthony Nolan Trust, the UK’s blood cancer charity and bone marrow register thanks to the recent social media phenomen @HelpHollie #pantsonyour head campaign.

Many celebrities and sports stars including Jonathan Davies and Sam Warburton have been posting ‘selfies’of themselves on Twitter and Facebook, wearing pants on their heads to support eight year old Hollie Clark who urgently needs a bone marrow transplant.

They are appealing for people who are aged between 16 and 30 to join the Anthony Nolan register, simply by filling in an online form and spitting into a tube. - See more at: http://www.anthonynolan.

org/news/2014/06/19/helphollie- find-donor-cardiffgirl# sthash.NBnpc7Nx.dpuf People over 30 can also be considered when donating blood up to the age of 46.

However there are many other ways of supporting the Anthony Nolan Trust (www.

anthonynolan.org) Whilst there are approximately 1,000 donors registered from Pembrokeshire, with your help we could smash this figure and give real hope to those, like Hollie who are waiting for a match.

Please help, you really could be a lifesaver.
