THE net kept on tightening and [Bryn Parry-Jones] has now finally - at long last - been forced to spend some quality time in his garden.
I suppose we can rest assured that he will have a fighting chance of eking out some sort of existence while he continues for the time being to be paid his modest salary - after which he will have his equally modest pension to fall back on.
All that is left for now is to hope that, eventually, his former defenders similarly disappear from view, and that they are all replaced in time by people who realise that it is we, the people, who are the principals in the relationship with public servants and local politicians, who are merely our agents.
