THERE is nothing so sure to start a debate by throwing politics into the ring of agenda.

The two recent bi-elections certainly hit the bulls eye in doing so recently. However it also a clever phrase which states ‘Be careful what you wish for’.

This could relate to UKIP getting its first Member of Parliament democratically elected in Clacton.

Excuse me not being cock a hoop about the result, but I reserve my freedom of making, like everyone in the UK and other countries, my own mind up and the ability of freedom of speech. How many people living in other countries would grasp at these privileges and be able to vote freely?

Sadly many people never bother to vote, but usually are the first ones to moan after the event. How sad if not selfish?

There is a General Election in the UK next year, the result will affect everyone in the United Kingdom and those not living there because they have families still residing in the UK.

Clacton ought to adopt another saying amending it to ‘You can beat an egg but not an UKIP candidate’.

People died trying to get the right to vote especially women so, whatever political inclination you hold please use your privilege to vote.
