THERE is confusion about the relationship of the CHC and the Health Board. Complaints made to the CHC will not be registered individually by the Health Board.
Anybody who wishes to increase the chance of restoring paediatrics and obstetrics to Withybush needs to make two separate complaints, one to the CHC and one to the Health Board.
Understandably this is hard for somebody already distressed by a negative experience, but I hope they will find it within themselves to make the effort, and make both complaints.
An Independent Scrutiny Panel will be reviewing whether the changes should be scrapped in about six months and are expected to consider evidence from both the CHC and the Health Board.
