AS a longstanding member of Aberystwyth Ramblers I have used the Cardi Bach many times for private coast walks as well on walks lead by other walk leaders. However, the temporary suspension of the service has brought it home to us that we could and should have used the service more often.
As our home was north of Aberystwyth the walks I led myself were usually in the Pumlumon area or further up north, but since my wife and I have recently moved to Cwmtydu I shall definitely be putting more coast walks on the Aberystwyth programme and make sure we make more regular use of the Cardi Bach service.
