SEEING the photo in your paper of the ferry Stena Europe at sea, it must have been frightening for the passengers.

I was washing my hair in my bathroom when I saw it going out of Goodwick Harbour.

It could hardly move before the clear water. I looked and it was not going to the left towards Strumble Head, but straight across. I thought that the wind was directing it that way. The questions the captain should answer are, should he have left Rosslare in the first place? Should he have left Goodwick Harbour?

I’m sure men whom have been captains would have not. It was certainly too stormy to do so.
