CARDIGAN Castle Café – My wife and I were visiting my wife’s parents over the weekend, and as they had praised the café at Cardigan Castle, we decided that we would have a treat and have a coffee at the Castle Café/restaurant before setting off to home.
On arrival, we were told that it was not possible to only visit the café, and that we would have to pay for admission to the Castle and Grounds (we did not have time or indeed wish to do so on this occasion), when we questioned this further we told that this policy is a result of how your attraction is funded.
This would mean that a simple cup of filter coffee would cost in excess of £6.50, which would have meant a round of four cups of coffee would cost close to £30.
Clearly you need to re-think how your admission charges are applied, and until you do so none of my family will be visiting.
