IN RESPONSE to the attack in the national press on the £450,000 arts project in Haverfordwest, I think that the arts project that will regenerate Haverfordwest through artsbased initiatives is a good and inspired idea. Wales is a small, creative and talented country and as Pembrokeshire is her premier county, the arts project for Pembrokeshire’s county town is particularly important and pertinent.
The Chief Executive of the Taxpayers Alliance criticised, in this case incorrectly in my opinion, the arts and regeneration project in Haverfordwest. He may do well to recall the words of the Irish poet W.B.Yeats : “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
