I wonder which Planet the originators of this strange idea of banning smoking on our beaches comes from!
Has he, she or they figured out how to enforce the ban without incurring more costs to the council budget.
Banning smoking in enclosed places is fine but, on a beach ! A Welsh beach without wind is a rarity so, the smoke disperses and blows away unlike dog poo, plastic, drinks can etc.
Another thing, the Council should consider the possible loss of tourist income by visitors who come to the County on holiday.
Hopefully some brave soul will challenge the plan quoting Human Rights.
