I AM an ordinary person who has lived in Fishguard all my life, seeing the town dying and car parks not suitable for coaches to bring visitors to the town.
Yes, we have the Lions and the Round Table and organisations with their functions to raise money for charities and that is all.
The music festival is held at the end of July.
How many local people attend and support this event?
Now I have organised as party and concert in Lota Park in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance and I was told to ask for a grant, to help the function on its feet so to speak, from the local council.
By the time the money was available it had been eaten up for tents, music equipment, toilets, the guest singer, raffle tickets.
The councillor who agreed to the grant - and then I am told he is sorry that he agreed - would he have been able to arrange such an event?
