I wonder if I could ask the help of your readers to try and find out more about my maternal great grandfather.
I live in Stratford upon Avon and am helping my niece in Manitoba research our family tree. The person we would like more information on is John Driver, master mariner, 1841-1928. He married his first wife Fanny Davies (1844-1906) in October 1862 in Haverfordwest and married again, Margaret Jane ? in 1907. He lived in Berkeley House, St David’s Place, Goodwick, then called Crediton House and also lived in Bridge House, Goodwick.
His widow Margaret sold the house in 1928 and moved to Laundry Cottage. Any information or photos of the couple and their family and the properties they lived in would be really nice to have.
