EVERYONE should visit Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.

The exhibits, covering the full range of Tenby’s history from early geological times to the twentieth century, are well presented and accompanied by excellent articles in English and Welsh explaining their importance to the town and to wider Welsh and British history.

There is also an audio tour as well as excellent displays which are constantly updated and changed.

For instance, there will soon be an exhibition about how Tenby was affected by the First World War.

There is also an excellent website which is regularly updated at http://www.tenbymuseum.

org.uk Unfortunately, as a result of local government cuts the museum’s future is under serious threat. One of the best ways you can support it is to visit it.

You can purchase a ticket for £4.90 which can be used again and again for one year.

This is particularly valuable as the museum holds different exhibitions throughout the year.

Tenby is justifiably proud of its history and heritage.

The museum and art gallery is part of this heritage and we must not lose it.
