I WOULD like to thank the many thousands of residents in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire who voted for me to continue as the Constituency Assembly Member.

I am very humbled and grateful to have been given the privilege to serve for a third term, and to have increased my majority is in great part a testament to the hard work and dedication of my outstanding team in Tenby who have shown commitment and tenacity in finding solutions to people’s issues.

I would also like to thank the other candidates for engaging in a lively but pleasant and courteous campaign.

Whilst I may not agree with their political hue it is vital for democracy that we have people who are prepared to raise their heads above the parapet and stand for what they believe in.

As I have said many times I am committed to representing the interests of the constituency in Cardiff Bay and I will be scrutinising and holding to account the minority Welsh Labour Government.

In much the same vein I am also committed to representing your views and reflecting your issues to the health board, the county council and all the other public bodies and non-governmental organisations.

We must all work together to safeguard our health services, raise educational standards, support businesses and improve public infrastructure.

If I can be of help to you please do not hesitate to contact me on 01834 643052 or email angela.burns@assembly.
