WITH Parliament now having a vote on Brexit, this gives us the chance to lobby our MP to vote against the proposal.

I realise this is a long shot as most MPs are more concerned with their careers, living in fear of the whip.

As one of the group who apparently provided the narrow majority (i.e the ‘stupid pensioners’) plus the fact that the vote went against all expectation, is it not time to look at our consciences and try and unravel this unholy mess?

I fully understand why younger people in forgotten parts of the country voted, mainly over immigration or just out of sheer “bloody mindedness”. But for the older generation to leave their children and grandchildren to sort out this debacle is unforgivable.

I suspect that many, like myself, had no idea what they were voting for and certainly no idea of the consequences.
