IT’S amazing that modern day pilgrims and mercenaries are discovering new sites and relics – “The Welsh Holy Grail” for example – and then sensationalising them.

Qualified people, writing books, giving talks and making money, to boot. You could call it “The Welsh Bluestone Rush”.

This could well open up the lovely countryside into a commercial circus.

There are many theories about the moving of the stones to Stonehenge, and Ancient Man had plenty of brawn, and more brain than he is credited for.

But nobody really knows.

Thank God for that!
