SO NICOLA Sturgeon is again calling for a further referendum on Scottish independence and we must commend the Prime Minister for her stand on this issue which is not in the interest of the people of Scotland.

A poll suggest that the majority do not want the break up the United Kingdom.

What Nicola Sturgeon wants is an independent Scotland with herself in the powerful position as president, but ignoring the fact that to divide the country will lead to the lowering of the standard of living of her subjects.

This she feel is a price worth paying to gain the position of power she feels is her divine right.

I do not deny the people of Scotland independence from the rest of the UK, but my fear is that Wales will then wish to follow and we will see the break-up of the union and the lowering of the standard of the people with no obvious advantage to the people of this island except the satisfaction of a few power- seeking people.

This is surely a price too high to pay for the carving up of this great nation with no real advantage.

Nicola Sturgeon is putting her own ambition for a position of power before the interest of the people of Scotland.
