Dear editor, I am writing with reference to the noise at South Hook from the article in the Mercury of June 10.
We also hear the noise quite clearly (it sounds similar to helicopter blades ready to take off). So as well as light pollution, foul odours and the roaring noise from the flares this is an added problem.
Unfortunately, this is probably an ongoing problem for residents and also for the tourist trade.
This certainly needs a rethink and a way forward to solving all these problems.
Mrs E Cremin, Westfield, Warren.
