THE Pembrokeshire branch of the Jubilee Sailing Trust has been re-established, as one of the Trusts’ tall ships returned to Milford Haven last week.

The 12-year-old ship Tenacious will be docked in Milford Haven for the next few weeks while it undergoes essential maintenance.

The Trust is a registered charity and the operation of the two ships Lord Nelson and Tenacious relies entirely on the public, corporate support and donations.

A wide network of Jubilee Sailing Trust branches have been formed throughout the UKand a group of local Trust supporters met onboard the Tenacious to re-establish the Pembrokeshire branch.

With a permanent crew of eight professional mariners onboard the tall ship, a 40- strong voyage crew that includes people with disabilities and illnesses, has joined the team on various programmes and activities travelling throughout Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

It is hoped in the coming weeks that the many people across Pembrokeshire who have previously sailed with the Jubilee Sailing Trust will make contact with the group.
