During Cllr Guy Woodham's year in office as Milford Haven town mayor, he held several events to fund raise to enable him to hand out donations to various organisations and charities.
Cllr Woodham choose Neyland Ladies Choir to receive £500.00 from that fund in recognition of the work that they had done for him during that year, and also in respect of the charity work they do locally. The choir decided that they would purchase a portable piano with the money, to enable them to take it to concerts where it was difficult to take the full size electric piano to.
The choir accompanist Peter Griffiths also received an award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to music within the community of Milford Haven.
