FANS of the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing will be in for a treat, when an evening of foxtrot and fundraising comes to Cleddau Bridge Hotel.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Milford Haven, with help from Valero, the black-tie event will be raising money for Pembrokeshire Sibling Group (PSG) and Barnardo's Pembrokeshire Family Link.

A night of dinner and dancing, there'll be demonstrations from professional dancers, plus competitions for everyone - with a panel of judges in charge of scoring the contestants.

There will also be an open floor session, with plenty of space for couples to try out their tango or wow with a waltz.

Music will be provided by a live band, and there will also be a charity auction and raffle, with a host of incredible prizes - including a trip to Westminster.

All the profits from the night will go towards two local charities that help children and young people in Pembrokeshire.

PSG was set up 15 years ago and offers activity workshops and residential trips to children and young people under 18 to give them and their families respite.

It also runs a drop-in club where children who have a brother or sister with a disability can share similar experiences, and have fun just being themselves.

Barnardo's Pembrokeshire works with disabled young people to help them access leisure activities and events across the county.

Tickets are £25, and are available from Warrington and Matthews Opticians, Milford Haven, Rotarian Geoffrey Harries on 01646 692736, or from any club member.

The evening takes place at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke, on Saturday, March 29. 7pm for 7.30pm, with carriages after midnight.
