TWELVE pupils from Coastlands CP.School, in St Ishmaels, were rewarded in a special assembly last week for achieving 100 per cent attendance last term.
The children were awarded a medal each from headteacher Paul Harries.
“As a school, we work very hard to achieve good attendance and feel that it is important that we acknowledge the pupils when they have done so well” said Mr Harries. “Good attendance has a direct effect on children’s performance at school so it is important that we encourage high attendance rates.”
