PAST and present students were praised for their achievements at the Milford Haven School senior certificate award ceremony at the end of the Easter Term.
Hundreds of students filled the hall to receive prizes and certificates for their outstanding A Level and GCSE achievements over the past year.
Headteacher Mr Francis paid tribute to the hard work of both the students and their teachers for ensuring that the school enjoyed another successful year. He also thanked parents and carers for their continued support in working with the school to help children realise their potential.
Chair of governors Ms Julia Ritchie said: ‘The awards evening celebrates the hard work and success of our pupils, offering inspiration to all. Behind every achieving pupil lies a strong community, supportive parents and a skilful committed school team. We offer congratulations to all’.
Guest speaker, around-the-world sailor and cameraman, George Johns presented the students with their awards and certificates, whilst the band entertained the crowd during the evening with a variety of talent on display.
Addressing the students, Mr Francis added: “As good as things have been so far for Milford Haven School, the best is yet to come. And I am looking forward to sharing that future with you.”
