FROM yoga to astrology, Milford Haven WI has had a very busy eventful and successful year so far.

January commenced with a new committee and Ms Pat James was elected President for the forthcoming year.

Members have enjoyed interesting talks and demonstrations on Yoga, how to use a defibrillator, The Bobby Van, Asia, a fun-packed evening learning New Age Kurling, Easter crafts and art.

At Federation level members have also leant about astrology, enjoyed a walk around Bosherston and Stackpole , attended the Women First Conference in Cardiff and walked for WWF

The members entered ‘Anything Goes’ and had great fun rehearsing for ‘Milford Haven WI’s Magical Mystery Trip’ which included songs from the shows. They put on a wonderful show on the night at the Torch Theatre.

Members entered the Pembrokeshire Federation of WI annual county round with a fantastic entry based on the theme of A Secret Garden and won the trophy for the second year running.

The team, Marie Jelly, Liz Bearne, Diane Woodham, Ann Dixon and Pat Luke will now represent Pembrokeshire at the Royal Welsh Show in July.

Forthcoming will include a talk on finances, Stackpole Walled Garden, participating in the centenary baton relay celebrations for the Cleddau Group, U3A and a summer trip to the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells to support the members in their fantastic achievement.
