THE Manchester Club’s annual fundraising raffle has raised more than £1,000 for the Paul Sartori Foundation.

Together with some extra donations, the raffle – held on Easter Sunday - raised a whopping £1,300 for the charity, which offers specialised and supportive care and advice for those living with a life limiting illness.

A spokesman for the Club said the Foundation was picked to benefit from the annual Easter fundraiser as it is ‘a cause close to everyone’s hearts’.

The Foundation’s hospice at home service is available 365 days of the year and operates a 24/7 on-call service.

Care can be provided directly into the patient’s homes, and the charity also aims to help the relatives and immediate carers close to the patient during the illness and through the bereavement period.
