A SENIOR manager at Murco Refinery has completed a gruelling coastal path challenge for a charity close to his heart.

Nigel Bradshaw walked 186 miles around Pembrokeshire over the course of seven weeks, stepping out in the evenings or at weekends when he could.

He did it to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Nigel’s life has been touched by cancer when his wife was diagnosed with the disease shortly after the birth of their child. His sister is also recovering from breast cancer, while some of his friends and colleagues have lost their battle.

Nigel has also been busy taking part in fundraising activities for the Myrddin Special and Autistic unit, the RNLI, Macmillan Cancer Support and British Heart Foundation.

Nigel had hoped to raise £1,000, but he has more than doubled that amount on his Just Giving page. Murco has also kindly agreed to match fund its employees sponsorship.

Nigel would like to thank everyone who supporting him in the challenge through either donation or good advice, especially as he only got one blister.
