LOCAL children will be free to explore the outside world thanks to a donation from a local LNG terminal.
Dragon LNG recently supported the Meads Infant and Nursery School, by providing the children with wellington boots for their newly developed ‘forest school’.
The wooded area located within the grounds of the school, provides the children with safe areas to explore and enjoy the wonders of a forest, including a wooden seating ring, bird boxes and bug habitats.
Meads School administrative officer Marion Sizer said the children were thrilled with their new boots.
"Together with other local business who sponsored us to purchase wet weather clothes, the children now enjoy this beautiful area on a daily basis," she said.
