MILFORD Haven-based charity Pembrokeshire Action To Combat Hardship (PATCH) was pleased to receive a £250 from the town's Round Table group recently.
Round Table spokesman David Barrett said PATCH had approached the group asking for help to buy items for the food parcels they give out to people.
The money donated was raised from the group's annual fireworks night.
PATCH works to relieve the effects of poverty for individuals and families within Pembrokeshire. It is always in need of donations of food, clothing, household goods, cleaning products and personal items like towels and sanitary products.
