MILFORD Haven business circle has nominated its new officers for the year ahead.

New chairman Byron Jenkins, of Cariad Crafts, thanked outgoing chairman Lynne Turner, secretary Harvey Thomas and treasurer Colin Sharp for their hard work and dedication throughout the year, which he said had been key to the successes seen in the town in 2014.

Joining Mr Jenkins on the board will be Keith Parr, of Scales and Tails, as secretary, and Cllr guy Woodham, of the Torch Theatre, as treasurer.

Mr Jenkins said the continued success of the town’s window dressing competitions, as well as the launch of the new weekly street market, had only been possible thanks to business owners in the town, who had given up their time for free.

Looking ahead, he said he hoped to work with the town and county councils to regenerate and improve the town centre, and with local businesses to establish new events.
