Not sure whatto do for luch today? A pop-up, pot-luck café where you pay what you think is a fair price for your meal is coming to the old Ocky White’s building in Haverfordwest.

The brainchild of Transition Haverfordwest (TH), the eaterie will run from 10am-5pm in the former Rendezvous Café.

A choice of delicious vegetarian hot meals made from fruit and vegetables people have grown in their gardens, plus tasty home-made cakes, tea and coffee, will be on offer to diners looking for a different meal out experience.

The aim of the day is for people to enjoy the wonderful produce available locally, and to highlight the work of TH towards sustainable living.

The Café will run alongside the The Lab Haverfordwest’s ‘Open Lab’ event, which invites you to drop in, meet the team behind The Lab, catch up on the story so far, find out about the autumn programme of workshops, events, and talks, and discover the different ways you can get involved.

If you would like to bring any fresh fruit and vegetables you can spare, please take them to the Café at 9am.

The Café will be run entirely by volunteers, and TH is trusting customers will be generous enough to cover the running costs.
