What are your views on Haverfordwest? What do you like about the town? What would you do to make it a better place to live, work or play? Anyone interested in the future of the county town is invited to drop in to an open day at The Lab on Saturday (September 19) from 10am to 4pm.

The Lab is an arts and regeneration project based in the old Ocky White’s department store on the riverside. The Lab is behind a number of recent art projects that have taken place in Haverfordwest, from flag making workshops with school children to the sonic artwork Black Diamond, and more. The open day will be a chance to meet the team, catch up on what has been happening so far, and share your thoughts and ideas on what The Lab can do next.

Running alongside the Open Day, Transition Haverfordwest is trying out a pop-up, pot-luck, pay-what-you-think-is-fair café, providing a choice of delicious vegetarian hot meals prepared from fruit and vegetables people donate from their gardens.

Please bring any fresh fruit and vegetables you can spare as early as possible on the day (from 9am onwards) and come back to taste the results from noon to 4pm. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will also be on offer.

The Cafe will be run entirely by volunteers. Any profit made will go back into Transition Haverfordwest community projects.
