THE Arabian Nights come to Milford Haven next week, asSt Katharine's Stratford Players take on panto classic Aladdin.

The story of a poor laundry boy who falls in love with the Emperor's daughter, Aladdin is a much-loved panto favourite, but this run will be extra special.

It features the final script of much-loved comic genie-us Dave Barrat, who died last year.

Dave's personal favourite, Aladdin will be dedicated to his memory, making it one to remember.

The cast has been busy rehearsing for months, with well-known local entertainer Stuart Maxwell taking on the role of larger-than-life matriarch Widow Twankie.

The play will run from Monday, April 4, until Friday, April 8, at 7.30pm, and 6pm on Saturday, April 9, at St Katharine's Church Hall, Milford Haven.

Tickets will be £4 for adults and £3.50 concessions.
