CHILDREN from the Meads School got to see where local decisions are made, when they were treated to a tour of the town hall.

The students were the first local school to take up Mayor of Milford Haven Cllr William Elliott's invitation to explore the town council building.

He said: "It was a delight to welcome 25 children from the Meads School to the town hall.

"I faced lots of interesting questions from them and I think they enjoyed seeing where we meet.

"They were a delight and a credit to their school, teachers and parents too.

"I hope that the other schools in the town will follow up on my invitation."

The mayor answered questions from the children in the council chamber, before the children enjoyed a tasty and healthy snack in the mayor's parlour.
